So I did.

I apologize for the nonsense. . .
On that note:

So last night was pretty fun. I didn't end up going hiking with Ale do to car problems. But I ended up meeting up with my friend Jammie, and we hiked Colwes.

The Coronado Bridge.

Me in my tight hikers shorts.
Night View. . . of a rock.
Thank you google for allowing me to tell myself of Cowles with your pictures.

So...

The Omegas,
the entire series of it. . .

And last but not least. Footage of me from March 2010. Where I played a German Mother of Augustus Gloop in Young Actor's Theatre Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.

Now, I am going to go outside today and cover up a trench that was dug in my yard to connect waste, electrical, and water. Ta Ta for now. Oh, I will be going back to the gym either today or tomorrow morning.

Always yours
Mr. Bunk Show Brandon Hitson of San Diego County, California, Tri-state area, United States of America of United Nations of the New World Order in the Western Hemisphere in this Earth next to our moon, next to our Sun, next to . . . in our galaxy. Thank you!

Bunktastic.

Hi. . . . How are you? Me? Oh, I am fine. Just fine, thank you. No, please, put down that Pelican. Please. Ok, I will comprise. I will put down the cat if you put down the Pelican. Ok. Good. Good. I am sorry. Sorry.

On that note:

Welcome to another member of the writing team.

Damon, international house of pancakes. Has been working for the government as a waffle. He once chocked a tiger while it was playing the violin. He also stopped world hunger. He did. I assure you.

52:40 is where I am reading.

Alex and I had to combat a busy bar. But It was fun to read some Shakespeare in a chauvinistic way. Personally the way Shakespeare should be read.

This week was fun. Got to see my Dad on Monday, and I saw most of my friends when they came by to hang out at work. Then Monday Night Live @ Kadan with Alex and Jammie. Then . . .

Then Saturday . . . 3 days earlier. I got to sneak away and go down to Old Town at 5pm. Where they were having Twainfest. I went down there with Joe and Damon, and eventually met up with our friend Chris Farrington. It was fun they had this area with a tarp set up where they had three scrolls with different story genres,  and what you had to do is continue the story that people had added.

It was fun. Lots of things went down. Brandon's shoe phone in front of the Whaley House. Mark Twain inventing Rocky Road, and Damon and I being street performers.

Here click this:

So I was featured on CW 6 News here in San Diego. Topic?
Hookah. This UCSD Professor is trying to ban hookah. Why? Political Agenda. Grants. Money. Personally I could take it or leave it. But I don't want to be out of a job. Plus, hookah isn't the best thing. But it is better than Cigarettes. No Tar. No Rat poison, and one hour of hookah equals ten cigarettes. Oh, and it isn't addictive. It's familiarity.

So you can find the interview of me at The Egyptian Tea Room, and also see Joe in the beginning segment blowing smoke out with this cheesy sound effect. Plus, they interview Chris and make him look bad.

Pictures that inspire me:

Thank you.

On that note: I am done here. I will say this. Poet's Corner is the 7th of next month. I am excited for that. Also, I am going hiking tonight at 7pm with my friend Alejandro. Up Colwes.

I am back.

So I it's been awhile since I have put up a blog. So . . . Hi!

I have been pretty busy with looking for a second job being a Craigslist Vulture, and going to open mics and poetry readings, and of coarse work. I haven't been very athletic lately. I haven't seen the gym since a month or two ago.

I have been keeping up on my Monty Python and the Flying Circus. Since I am in the workings of a sketch comedy show, I should study the greats.

I am greatly influenced by the two Terry's and Palin. Terry Jones for his slapstick and direction. Gilliam for his animation and direction. And Palin for his comedy.

Such a cool guy!

Anywho!

I have been on the computer all of the afternoon on Tuesday and today applying for Seaworld, Barona, Viejas, Craigslist ads, etc. etc. I am hoping I will get an interview here.

I have been making videos and promos for The Bunk Show. . . out of bordem.

Our Forth Promo video.

Made this today

Went to Open Mic at Kadan hosted by John Emmons. I went down there with MoJoE and read some poetry. Great night I would say.

Also, Raul Urreola has another Omegas episode to show:

Episode 5: Broken Promises.

I want to say thank you to Christina for telling me I am me when I was having an off day. Thank you. :)

Now, I need to get back to Craigslist. bye bye for now. :)

I'm a Lumberjack and I am ok.

I love Monty Python!!! Talk about a bunch of intellectual guys. My hats are of to you Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and my favourite, Michael Palin.

I just got back from the El Cajon Library, and rented a disc of season 2 of Monty Python, and another disc of season 3 that has "The Man Who Speaks in Anagrams." I also rented the film "A Praire Home Companion" with Meryl Streep, John C. Reilly, and Garrison himself. I also got the 30th Broadcast season celebration of his show. Then i rented Observe and Report for fun. David Tennant's version of Hamlet, and rented Tennessee William's earliest plays, Stairs to the Roof and A Fugitive Kind. I have read Stairs to the Roof before, and I will say it's not like his later works, like A Streetcar Named Desire or Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Stairs is about a book keeper in a clothing factory who is fed up in life and is going to get canned. He has a best friend who told him not to marry the girl of his dreams, because he wants them to embark on many adventures to explore the world. And then come graduation time, his friends says that they should just settle down and find a paper pusher job. Also in this story, Ben (the main character), has a wife who be littles him the whole time. Well, he gets drunk one night and runs into a girl he calls Alice and they run amock the town and free the zoo animals and everything just turns surreal. Then my last thing I checked out is David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross." Alex has told me about the film, and has mention how good the play is. So I am excited to read this piece.

It's ok, just ignore Lindsey Lohan and everything will be ok. Over the past 2 years I have become a big Garrison Keillor fan.

I have made 2 more new promo videos for The Bunk Show.

Originally for this video I used the opening music from A Streetcar Named Desire by Alex North, but Youtube nor Facebook would let me upload because of copyright laws. Which I understand. I did credit the artist though. So instead youtube disabled the audio and gave me list of music to chose from. I chose Franz Liszt because next to Gerswhin, he is my favourte piano composer.

Music by Beethoven.

Well, I am going to go watch Monty Python,

So Cheers,
Brandon.

Friday Fragments: Poet's Corner.

When one gets bored in life. No this, there are always things to do or create. I would say I go back and forth with that mentality. I occasionally get stuck in the bored mindset. But then I think about it or a good friend calls me up and tells me he has some good ideas, or that there are events coming soon. Then I think anew.

I haven't been really getting into shape like I have promised myself. But Monday night I made an effort to go hiking with my boss and friend, Harry. It was nice to go up a steep hike and find such a beautiful night sky view of San Diego. I got to see the fireworks from Seaworld and then panning over to the eastside of san diego and seeing San Migual Moutain with it's blinking high towers. For years I have been enomered by this mountain. There is something mysterious about that mountain.

Maybe because it's near Proctor Valley. And there are many rumors about Proctor Valley. i.e. "Blue People."

A couple of years ago. My friend Shawn told me that he had left a party out in Jamel and stopped off to relieve business out on some side rode near Proctor Valley by a large forest area. When we looked out into the bush and saw some man staring at him from inside the bushes, and apparently saw that his skin was tinted blue grinning at him. So he took off. Apparently the blue coloring comes from inbreeding. And that these backwoods people live out near that mountain. Like "The Hills Have Eyes." That's what he told me.

But I have heard some rumors about Proctor Valley being haunted. Like the Haven Bakery which apparently had the owner years and years ago kill his whole family and kill himself. I have also found since this area is near the border it inhabits some Mexican folklore.

La Llorona:

For the most part of this week I have stayed at home and been lazy lol. And of coarse worked Tuesday night and I will be going in at 11:00pm tonight. I did host Poet's Corner at The Egyptian Tea Room.

Thank you all for coming out. And I missed Traci and Alex. Again, Happy Birthday buddy!!! And I missed Eber too. Christina, I am going to get you that transporter. Dr. Scotty is on Union Strike so yeah . . .

Traci has been getting me to do a Friday Fragments. Thank you Mrs. 4444 for hosting. Come on link up and join us, why don't ya?

Many Things To Talk About

I would say I have had another eventful weekend. Saturday I got to hang out with Alex, Traci, and their nephew, Emmanuel watching Monty Python and the latest Gregory Brothers video.

The Song.

Of Coarse The Original

And from Talladega Night's where Will Ferrall plays George Bush.

Haha, good stuff."Tom Brokaw's a punk!" I love Talladega Night's. I remember when I was living up in Desert Hot Springs with my Dad in the summer of 2006, and we were doing estimates for his business Earl's Lath and Plastering in Yucca Valley. We would more than occasionally stop off at this local movie theatre. There we saw Talladega. I also remember seeing parts of that 9/11 film with Nick Cage. And The Devils Wear's Prada. Which was a good film I thought.

One of Alex's favourte sketches we watched on Saturday.

It was really nice to see Emmanuel laughing at Monty Python; a show both Alex and I come to love. Some of the younger generation wouldn't find it funny.

This Sunday. I got to see my friend, Rhiis and his band, Ana Kefr, play at The Navajo Second Wind. Also Squirelly Arts played, which I was sad to only catch just one song. I would of loved to see them play their whole set. But foolishly I thought they were playing at Second Wind Santee. I didn't read the poster on Facebook. I just assumed. It was fun to see everybody at the show. All the bands did a great job. It was awesome to AK again. Last time I saw them was on Sunset Blvd at The Key Club in 2009. When I went up with Josh and Tab. Also, it was nice to hang out with Sharyn, Sam, Nox, Tori, Miranda, Rhiis, Mandy, Brad, Mario, and MoJo.

Ana Kefr.

  • Squirrelly arts

Then next day I had lunch with good company, Sharyn. And we went and got Home Town Buffet. They really changed their appearance inside. They made it look like Barona Casino's buffet. The booths look fancier. They offered Olive Oil, Vinegar, and they have a whole stand where you can choose from. Also, they had all the food sectioned off from Italian, Asian, American, and they had their hot warmers in the middle with fried fish; and of coarse the salad bar. . . why do I rant about Home Town Buffet??? I don't know.

...And now for something completely different. . .

My friend Don came to visit me at work. I haven't see Don since 2009. We talked about life and art I went over to his apartment and watched "The Whitest Kid's you know" with his girlfriend Marina. :)

Trailer hunting! My step Dad and my Mom sold their motorhome recently. Therefore, putting me into the joining living room. Vacationing on a air mattress that lacks in storing air. I have been looking up trailers or cheap motorhomes so I can get my privacy again. lol. Yesterday, I drove with my step Dad, Doug. Out to Lakeside, and this guy was selling this trailer for 1500 . I must say looks are deceiving on Craigslist. But then again. It's craigslist. Well, we show up and the trailer is in bad condition, and is 20 feet. Not paying that much for something beat up and that small, So we politely apologize for wasting their time and leave. The other day my Mom and Doug, went out to check out a trailer for 1495; and waited 2 hours for this guy to show up and show them the trailer. He shows up and they come to find out it was gutted out inside. And the add said it had 2 television sets and was ready to go. What a waste of time. Moral of the story??? Craigslist does not filter out sketchy people.

Yesterday, I went hiking up Colwes Mountain with Harry again. It had been a good week since I haven't been up there. I quite frankly have been sitting on my ass glued to my computer. Lol. I will hit the gym today before work. I need to get back into the groove of things.

Here are some promo pics for The Bunk Show:

Hope you found humour in them.....

Poet's Corner

This Wednesday is The Egyptian Tea Room's first Poet's Corner. Should be fun. Going to Mcee the first time around. It's also my good friend Alex's birthday. Happy Birthday Alex!

Boogity Boogity, Cheers,
Brandon
